Shell Oates is an artist inspired by the people and scenery around her. Shell regularly uses long, bamboo sticks with brushes or tools attached to the end, manipulating each stroke with her hand to create a variety of results. Each piece is able to capture a uniquely different atmosphere depending on Shell’s thoughtful choices of palette, movement and composition. Shell’s artwork was featured in Custodians of Nature and Rest Under The Stars.
