Though he predominantly uses digital software to create his work, Michael also explores a range of fine art techniques to bring a new feel to his style. Michael regularly creates a selection of work based off a subject, eventually collating them into a poster.

He thrives creatively when presented with a theme that he can explore, whether that’s the theme of nature as in Custodians of Nature or the architecture from Carlisle Cathedral as in Rest Under the Stars.
