We are delighted to share that Prism Artist Jyma in collaboration with Studio Walden designed Tullie’s Community Board logo.
Jyma is a member of Tullie Community Board himself, a group set up to a have a role in decision-making within the museum and to address key issues for local people in the communitiy.
Jyma said of the project: “It was fun and rewarding to create the logo with Vinny. I drew the person with the sign and Vinny guided the ideas to create the final design. This is a special project to me because I’ve been a collaborator with Tullie as a member of the community board and on other projects, such as Travelling Stories and Cultures Collide.”
Vincent Walden of Studio Walden has worked with our artists on several different projects now, such as The Brickyard Project and The Studio Arts Branding Project, in addition to being a Prism Arts Trustee. Vincent commissioned Jyma for artwork to integrate it into the final logo design.
Vincent said, “After the workshop that I ran with Prism Arts, Jyma felt confident about offering his artistic services to provide branding for Tullie’s Community Board, of which he is a committee member. I’m proud that Jyma felt confident to take on this project, in the knowledge that I would be able to help him realise his vision and develop it into a finalise brand.”

Could you be part of Tullie Community Board?
Tullie Community Board was set up in 2021 to help shape Tullie’s future. The role of the board is to listen to, and speak for, the many different parts of the local community, including those with disabilities, young people, minorities, and others who are under-represented or marginalised in society.
Jyma is encouraging of anyone to get involved: “Feel free to join. You might achieve something for Tullie and the community. It would be great for someone interested in art and history.”
