Transition Programmes (16-25 yrs)
Prism Arts deliver creative enrichment programmes for transition age young people (16-25) from SEND schools, colleges and SEND Units.
Currently, we are working with James Rennie School (Carlisle), Lakes College (Workington) on a regular, commissioned basis to deliver workshops across the acadmic year. We have also worked with Beaumont College (Carlisle), to deliver a college transition project, supporting their leavers to find post-education opportunities.
At Prism Arts, we passionately believe in creativity as a catalyst for personal development. These programmes are designed to develop young people’s skills, confidence and creativity, tracking individual progression every step of the way.
Prism Arts produce these sessions with our dedicated team of facilitator artists specialised in neurodivergent inclusivity, alongside talented local creative practitioners.
The programmes provide a huge variety of opportunities every year so young people can discover their own areas of strength or creative interest.
Workshops to date have ranged from dance, painting, drama, table top roleplaying games, video art and printmaking – to name a few!
