Support Prism’s Big Give Fundraiser This March
Carlisle, 18/03/2025 – Prism charity, which works throughout Cumbria to provide life-changing opportunities for disabled artists, is calling on local people to help support its Big Give fundraiser this March.
From March 18th to 25th, every donation made through Prism’s Big Give link will be doubled, helping the charity reach its goal of raising £1000, which would then be matched to become £2000. Donations can be made from midday March 18th to midday March 25th.
Why Your Donation Matters
Prism’s mission is to create a society of art without barriers. With your support, Prism can continue to provide life-changing opportunities for learning disabled and neurodivergent artists like Emma, Shell, and Tom:
Parent of Emma, Prism Studio Member:
“Prism has been life-changing for Emma. I have seen massive changes in Emma since being at Prism. The most important changes have been in the growth in her self-confidence, the pride she takes in the work she produces, and her ability to make choices.”
Shell, Prism Studio Member:
“I love to come to Prism, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come with my artwork. I have made lots of new friends and have loads of support and encouragement to help me do my artwork independently while being patient and understanding.”
Parent of Tom, Prism Studio Member:
“Prism allows our son to express his creativity and identity. He is valued as an individual, and Prism is the most important part of his life.”
How You Can Help
Emma Turner, Prism’s Communications Lead, encourages everyone to support the campaign:
“Every little bit really does help – for every pound you donate, the charity gets two. It’s a fantastic way to make your support go even further. If you can’t donate, you can still help. Share the Big Give link and ask your friends and family to join in too. Together, we can make a huge difference for these artists and ensure Prism can continue making a difference to people’s lives.”
How to Donate
Donations can only be made through the Big Give website at this link. The fundraiser runs from midday March 18 to midday March 25, and all donations through this link will be doubled during this period. Help us reach our goal of £1000, which will be matched to become £2000, funding Prism’s life-changing work.
