Harvey Tye: solo art exhibition has officially launched!

On Monday 17th October, local artists and community leaders, as well as friends and family of the artist, gathered to enjoy Harvey Tye’s stunning retrospective collection of work in Carlisle Cathedral.

Guests heard speeches by the Right Worshipful Mayor of Carlisle Mike Mitchelson, Revd Canon Dr Benjamin Carter and Visual Lead Artist Katie Lock, celebrating the official opening of the exhibition as well as congratulating the artist on his fantastic creative output over the past decade.

This exhibition, originally to be held in the Fratry Hall, is now exhibiting in Carlisle Cathedral due to technical issues with the space. This exhibition is available to view in Carlisle Cathedral from 7.30am to 6.30pm during weekdays and open until 5pm on weekends, from 18th – 30th of October! Plan your visit now!
