Tom Hanley, one of our long standing studio members, created this lovely piece as a thank you to our fantastic partners over at Carlisle Cathedral.
From their unwavering support for our solo exhibitions to our outstanding joint project, the Rest Under the Stars tour , this partnership is constantly exciting, collaborative and engaging.
Thank you Carlisle Cathedral! 😁It was fantastic to receive this brilliant framed drawing of the Cathedral from our friends at Prism Arts this week.

The drawing has been created by Tom Hanley and has been gifted to the Cathedral as a thank you for the support given throughout the Rest Under The Stars project.

Pictured here are The Very Revd Jonathan Brewster (Dean of Carlisle), Jane Dudman of Prism Arts and The Revd Canon Dr Benjamin Carter (Canon Warden).

Thank you very much - we now just need to decide where to hang this fabulous piece of art!

PRISM Rebrand Project 2024!

"Prism, formally Prism Arts, launches rebrand following an ambitious project led by the charity’s advisory board and Vincent Walden."

In 2024, the Prism Advisory Board was formed, with a group of Prism Artists meeting monthly to help shape the charity’s future. Their first major task was to collaborate with Vincent Walden, Lead Graphic Designer at Studio Walden, to reimagine the charity’s branding through a series of creative workshops and discussions.

As part of this project, the team developed custom typography based on the designs of Prism Artists. This led to the creation of three unique fonts: Prism Display Michael by Michael Shepherd, Prism Display JYMA by JYMA, and Prism Display Catherine by Catherine Quilter.

The end result is a bold new visual identity for the charity, directly inspired by the work of its artists.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Studio Walden and the Advisory Board for their dedication and creativity. We hope this vibrant, inclusive branding will represent the charity’s exciting future for many years to come.
